Anyone with exhaust cut outs...not pass inspection?

I am getting another flowmaster american thunder kit from a friend, except this one has cutouts wleded right before the muffler. I want to know if I am going ot have any problems passing inspection with having these on the car. They wont be open of course, but on there. I just wanna make sure its legal before I go ahead and take my other ones off.

yup they are legal. atleast where i'm from in PA. They pass the smog test as long as they dont leak, and the inspector shoulden't give you a problem on the visual. Just make sure before you go to get your car inspected that they don't leak, if you think it make be a problem, then put some gasket sealer in there to make sure it doesn't leak. I didn't have a problem with mine and i didn't have a gasket or anything, just metal to metal.
