anyOther T-5

The SVO used an unique gear ration T5 in 85 and 86 only. The Turbocoupe/XR7 used a T5 with identical ratios to a N/A 2.3. You can bolt a V-8 or V-6 trans to a 2.3 bellhousing without any adapter plates. Just be sure to use the correct pilot bushing/bearing. Also, the 5.0's used a much higher first gear ration. Not the hot ticket for a near stock 2.3, or 2.3T.
The SN95 T5's used a longer input shaft with matching bellhousing. Unless you want to disassemble it and have it machined, or swap input shafts, don't bother with them.
