my aod is leaking still, i fudged up my lines my making new fiittings...i noticed a funky smell and steam show from either the tranny or the fluid burning off the h-pipe and before the smell/steam/smoke it seems slower....????
my concern is i think it was overfull, like maybe a half quart my dumb arse just like to rip up and down the street hoping this aod will jump like my old 90gt with t-5.....but yah no way!!!!!!!!! the whole idea was just to get it driveable to do other stuff. but the horsepowr bug has bitten me...
so the money i put into for a decently used aod and torque converter might be a huge dump, i hate the larger converter and its only a 2200, but i learned my lesson,
im thinking of course attemping to fix it... but if it has to come, a t-5 is going in!!!!!
damn aod....i shoudve listened.....if its a easy fix, i'll put some 3.73's and hope to god it at least want to move... maybe its just because i have all 5spds even a 5.0,,this auto stuff sucks, but it just doessnt feal right....... anyways i was hunting for some stock lines since mine are a plumbers nightmare i want to start fresh? but have no clue... Can i just buy tranny lines and bend them with some good ol muscle??
wha to do...??

If you can find some lines the right length just get a tubing bender so you don't kink anything and give her hell . I sure feel like an oddman out lol I love my auto. Just out of curiosity is there a shift kit or anything installed? Am currently running mine w/ a 2.8k stall and a transgo shiftkit/high-rev gov. and 4.10 gears. Its nice off the line and all but mine is a street car, will probably never see the strip and I don't like heading down the interstate at 75 mph with the motor screamin so will probably be switching to some 3.55s at least here soon.

Go to the parts store and ask for 5/16 metal brake line. Get it long and by a tubing bender and bend the lines So they will fit and look good. Junkyard trannies never work.AOD's are good trannies if the person that is building it knows what they are doing and they do it right
