Ok guys lets try this again. Last post got out of hand on my part. I have a 88 306 with the aod i installed a trans go shift kit. I read the instructions installed it, drove it not shifting broke it back tore apart made sure all parts were moving reinstalled same thing. Any ideas on what else it could be? Line pressure is around 30 psi at idle. Car has a carb conversion 3300 stall and 411 gears if that effects anything.

Did you do the shift back into low to hold second gear shuffle before doing the VB upgrade? A quick google search on "AOD second gear shuffle" might show you exactly what was damaged. I know the VB kits are supposed to avoid that damage, but it sounds like that kind of problem.

I will not be offended if others help him more specifically. This is how I have seen several AOD trans damaged.

Hello 88silver,

You said the line pressure is 30 psi at idle. Is that with the gauge block on or off? If that's your pressure without a gauge block installed then that may be your problem. You should have between 0-5 psi (at the TV port) at idle and between 33-40 with the spacer installed.
