AOD suggestions????

I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to keep my AOD which has a stage 3 shift kit, or replace it with a c4 which is a stronger tranny...any help would be great.

If you drive the car as your daily or alot you will want the AOD for the OD..
I put a lentech valve body in mine which allows you to delete OD using a toggle and hold the tranny to any RPM in any gear. Makes driving an AOD alot nicer. The old 1-2-1 shift guys do is extremely hard on the transmission and
will inevidibly destroy it..
A C-4 is lighter and smaller but, you have no OD so you will be turning it hard
on the hwy.. Either can be built to withstand substantial HP..

i'd go c4

w/ the rebild money you save from the aod at $1800 a pop...you can buy a beater 5.0 5-speed for a daily driver

No, its not broken, its my everyday driver, and that delete for the od sounds like a good idea. How would i go about doin that? thnx for the reply.

get good converter and valvbody. if you dont already have tranny cooler and 3.73-4.30 gears then get those also. then you will enjoy the car alot better. i would keep the aod anless your going to make it a track only car.
