well since i dont have have tools and really no idea what to do for this job. could i take it to a tranny shop and tell them to check and/or adjust the TV/pressure on my AOD. or will they look at me like WTF!!!!

`also when i put my aod in, i put too much fluid in it,but since its not going anywhere, i havnt got under there and drained it out! but i noice a transmission spill on the ground? it doesnt seem to leak when running and hot. so i was wondering if the fluid bleads out if to full from the breather or something? or if i still have a small leak!
-thanks

I've never heard of excess fluid being forced out, but it could be getting by the dip stick tube o ring. I'd check the lines too. I had one rust through. You def want to take it to a competent trans shop an have the pressure set but if you drive it there you will prob burn it up. you can look up how to set the pressure using an oil pressure gauge, i think its on click click racing.

All you need is one of these...

when you say plug it in,you mean like screw it in with a thread or just pop in in, or on top of that tube...???

There should be a threaded plug in the hole... take it out and get a fitting that has the same threads as the plug and has a nipple on the other end that the hose can slide over. Use a clamp to hold the hose on and put the gauge on the other end and use a clamp there too.

ok sound easy enoughthats ust a basic pressure guage correct??you dont know the thread size for the AOD??? and maybe my tranny is ok,anyway to diagnos it,just by driving???

i had my dad watch the pressure lever on the linkage under the car and i was pulling on the cable and it would be moving, but when i would let go so there was no pull or slack it was completely disengaged. does that account for anything?.
but i made a slight adjustment cause i would have to pull the cable a little to put in the bushing on the TBody,(like 3-4notches)which seemed to have no reall effect just made the pastic thing go into the bushing without having to use any force.so should i put it back!!! to where it was at...??
the car shift smooth and i dont have to let go of the gas for it shift, it also wants to jump a little i just think it needs some mods....
can you aod guys break traction just by stomping the gas(remember i have a trq converter). i can brake traction failry easy just by slightly power breaking, but thats ot what i want. i want push when i slam the pedal,( maybe a trq converter has something to do with this)
