Aode neutral grinding?

I put into neutral then reved it to about 3800-4500 rpms let it drop to idle, and started hearing grinding/scraping noise in tranny area put into park noise stopped it only happens in neutral what would cause this?

Also is there a vent on the top of axle housing?
when i took out fill plug to check fluid a lot of air came out and it was very low.

I have to ask ... Why would you rev your car that high in neutral?

The axle vent is on the passenger side of the axle. It was 12 bucks, special order, when I got one from the dealer. They can get pretty crappy and not vent too well.

HISSIN50 do you have a part # for it, and/or what it is listed as?

I dont have the part # and I tossed the packaging. If you ask for the axle vent or axle check-valve, they should know what you want.
