I have a 95 AODE Stang that will be a purpose only bracket drag race car. It will never be driven on the street. I am using the original AODE trans. I will never be using the overdrive. With the key in the on position, I can turn off the overdrive via the OEM button. When you turn off the key, and then back on, I must push the button again to turn off the overdrive. How would I turn the OD off permanently? I do not think a toogle would do it as the OEM button is a momentary design, not an on/off switch. Any thoughts??

Which program will allow me to do that?? Will it also shift the trans at a preset RPM??

Any custom tune or a Tweecer RT will do it. You can set the commanded up and down shifts to whatever RPM you want (for instance, setting the 3-4 shift at 7000 RPM would keep it from shifting into OD).
