I can't decide weather to get a Transgo Shift kit or a PA valve body. I want to be able to manual shift when I want but also want to take advantage of the autoshifting. I know both will do it, but which will do it better? Any input would be apreciated.

The PA valve body would be my choice. Just drop and swap, no fiddling with the stock valve body.

The valve body eliminates a lot of room for error.

They are technically the same thing, it's just that the PA valve body has a "shift kit" already done to it.

Ok, what exactly is this Pa Valve body? I'm guessing it somehow lets you manually shift? Could someone explain it to me plz.

I can try. The VB controls the shift in the auto's. They offer manual/auto VB's allowing you to either put it in drive and it will automatically shift for you or put it in 1st and you have to manually go through the gears, and Pa (performance automatic) is just a company that sells them.

Hmm, Well how exactly can you go through all the gears when it only goes, 1 , 2 , D....... wouldn't you be missing 4th gear?
