aode to 5 speed swap! anyone know??

I'm going to swap my aode in my 94 to a tremec 500, what I'm wondering is whether or not my cars harness will have the same electrical connections for the manual?? it would make sense for it to be set up for both (other than the computer) for ease of manufacturing at the factory. I will have a donor car but the less running of wires the better (lack of time). Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

The tranny harness is a bit different - less plugs mainly. Since you have a donor car, take the tranny harness from there. This harness hooks up in the passenger-back corner and is easily removed. I hope your donor car still has the 5-speed computer or you can flash a chip to turn off the auto tranny program in the computer. Otherwise, the swap is pretty easy with a donor car.
