AODE to T5 questions

Ok so ive got a 95 cobra thats getting parted thats a five speed, im putting the five speed in my daily driver (95 gt) thats has an AODE. How hard is this swap and will i need to change computers. Im pretty sure that every thing will swap over but im not sure if the AODE is computer controled, if it is will the computer will have to be changed.

yes you will need the computer, but the cobra computer wont work for you unless you have 24lb injectors.
at the time i had my aode to t5 swap done i paid a ford master mechanic
but nowadays i think i would attempt to do it myself

Very easy to do, old transmission out, new one in, pretty straight forward.
When I did mine I didn't swap puters right away, my car ran OK, so you can get away with it for a while, I did. I'm not very fluent in hte subject but I've read on here that you can mke the appropriate changes to the 'puter with a Tweecer type device.

Thanks guys, i actualli have all the stuff to switch the computer over also so that should work out fine. The now the only thing im worried about is changing the pedals out, it doesnt look like its going to be too fun.
