Aode Transmission Swap

Would like to use a aode transmission on a carburetor 347 engine. is this possible? How could I do this? Thank you for any help. If it helps its a 1982 mustang originally manual transmission.

its the same as doing any auto trans swap, except that you also need a stand alone transmission controller.

a few parts you will need;

the correct 164 tooth flexplate

torque converter

trans cross member

trans controller

output yoke for the AODE

you may need to shorten up the drive shaft.

there are a few other things i cant remember right now, someone will pop in and add their information.
