I am talking about the sender itself, not the fuel gauge and not the pump.
I installed a 190 pump in my Coupe last week and noticed some lines had been replaced with normal fuel line...so I wanted to redo them using the correct lines from sender to return line and sender to filter. I noticed that the supply line from the supply side of the sender going to the filter didn't fit. It fit on the filter with no problem, but it is too large for the sender itself. So I am thinking that I have a 2.3 tank and sender in my car, which would explain why the line won't fit. I just want to check if my theory is correct, and changing the sender to a 5.0 sender will fix my problem...before dropping the tank again for the 5th time in a week.
