Are All Aftermarket Shocks/Struts Created Equal?

WTF is up with all the bickering on this thread?

My thought on suspension is to stick with a known and reputable shop. That way you can be assured that all your stuff will work well together.

In that vein, I am buying all my stuff from Maximum Motorsports, starting with their starter kit (bilsteins, lowering springs and CC plates).

Mix and match if you like, and you want to save a few bucks. Just do lots and lots of homework to make sure it all works well together!!!

Well, thanks for all the help! In your opinion, how does that setup look? Price seem reasonable?

Well, aside from the fact that you really did not listen to Bimmertech or I LOL, if you are really set on using Tokicos, you might as well buy the Mach1s/Bullitts since they are valved more aggressively and cheaper.

There is always the Maximum Motorsports box if you want to spend alittle more....http://www.maximummotorsports.com/giab2.asp#comp

PS Let me know if you want to upgrade to some power windows by the way.
