Are c4 bellhousings removable?

I'm trying to sell a c4 currently but am away from home (at college) and my dad's out of town, so no one can check for me. Is there a blanket rule for c4s that the bell is/isn't removable? A potential buyer is asking about that, and if there was an easy way to tell him one way or another it'd make life... easy.
