I'm deciding what lights to get for christmas this year for the stang as mine suck and my my Hatch look like crap. Should I go stock? I'm thinking either smoked or the diamond. Are the diamond's too import? What do you guys think?

Here's what they look like:

IMO I think the diamonds are a little to flashy for our cars, I like the look of the smoked on black cars and clear corners on red and black, but honestly stock clean new lights just make the car look good.

I think they look fine, put them on my car :D

I was just like you; I wasn't too sure how the Diamond headlights would look on my car.
It’s all about individual preference and nothing more, because you can’t please all the people all of the time.
But I'm glad I changed from the stock to the Diamond.

Nothing beats a set of clean stockers IMO. But it also all depends on what you drive. If you've got a GT Hatch with a few other body enhancements, then you might pull it off, but if it's a stock looking LX or even GT, I think they look ricey, yes. In which case you’d fit into the same category as the guy with $3,000.00 wheels on a $300.00 car.

Well put :nice:

I've had them for a long time, and I think I was one of the first people that I ever saw with them. I've taken a lotta **** from people that dont like them. "Why would you put euro lights on a mustang, what are you crazy?" And also heard "Damn, those are the best looking lights i've ever seen on a Mustang!" I love em, i know i've convinced a few other people to get them. If you want a good light pattern and to be able to see at night, with a different look then everyone else, get them! But dont decide to not get them just cause a few guys on here think it's "Ricey"!

I like them, I have a set on my 88 for around two years now. I just wanted better lighting and up to date looks. I was tired of the stock looking lights since just about every vehicle ford made in the late 80s and early 90s had close to the same design as the mustang. About every vehicle ford makes now has "euro" style headlights, so I don't think its a rice thing IMO.

I went for the stock look as the only mod on my GT is the Cobra R hood. I did put a pair on my Daughters Neon and they look real sharp. If you go diamond clear though you gotta do it for all six lights!!
