Are dumps legal?

Since I'm looking for a mean exhaust system, I was thinking of going with either a MAC or Flowmaster Dump system, with an off-road H-pipe (no emissions testing in Manitoba), along with either equal lengths or longtubes. Here's where I hit the snag. Are either the 3" Flowmaster exhaust system with dumps or the MAC system legal (in Manitoba, if possible)? Also, any opinions on any of the products? Thanks.

i'm curious on this subject too. I would see maybe if your state or province does smog testing because they cant hook up the sniffer unless you have tail pipes.

Smog is no problem. The problem is noise. Cops are going nuts right now - they have way too much power. Even with a stock system, they pulled me over just for driving my GT on cruise night. I want to keep it noise-legal to keep the cops off my ass, because I don't need any more tickets.

I know in Saint john, you can't have the exhaust exit under the car. I almost never got a sticker cause of it. But I know the guy and he said he would let it slide... I love the sound of my car! soon I will be running straight 3" pipe and dump it at the doors, that should sound interesting!

3" Exhaust (I will be going forced induction soon). Again, emissions is not a problem in Manitoba. My GT was already safetied, so that isn't a problem either. It's on a dealer plate, so I can hold out for awhile. It's just noise and any positioning law (has to come out from the back?) that are the problems. Does anyone in Canada know the laws?

Can anyone post a pic of what the pro dump system looks like installed? I think i want to do it on my coupe i'm building....it will help me fit a bigger tire under it, and when you look behind it all you'll see is REAREND, baby!
Please post a pic from behind the car if possible!
Thanks!
