I'm looking in buying a less expensive throttle body and the mac seems to be a good deal $129 for a 65mm. Have any of you guys ran these before? is it a decent peice for the money?

all throttle bodies basically do the same thing, regulate air. MAC is a decent company that makes lots of stang parts so i dont see it as being crappy or anything. just make sure you get the rite size for your app. 65mm is good for a non-blown modded up 5.0.

If you search around, you'll find that there are complaints from some folks on just about every brand of throttle body EXCEPT Ford Racing and Accufab. Mac's quality is questionable on some of it's products - I would spend more to get a better value. Love my Ford Racing throttle body - and they come with brand new tps sensor and IAB solenoids.

Can't beat that! I would definitely pay more for the Ford part.

The only problem is.......they stopped making the FRPP 65mm throttle body for the 87-93 cars. They are only available for the 94-95, and a 70mm for the 96-03's..........

My uncle has a BBK/Edelbrock 75mm TB and that thing whistles like crazy. Don't think he has any other problems though.
