Are my bearings ok (post mortem of oil pump shaft failure)

They don't look too bad for a pump failure, but it's almost pointless not to replace them if you have the engine down that far already. I would be worried if copper was showing, but there is still non-worn area so the crank is likely not hurt.

I had a pump shaft failure in a '65 notch/289 I used to have. I drove it for a nearly a mile before I realized I had no pressure. There was a scary amount of babbitt in the oil pan and the oil pressure was down about 15psi, but I just kept running it after a pump change. Afterward I installed an oil pressure warning light which IMO is well worth the $40-60 if it saves your engine.
