Are my Eibach Prokit springs killing my 60 ft times? I have yet to ever really hook at the track and have one good run. Either I bog under 1000 rpms or spin badly over 1500rpms. My best 60ft to date is 2.003 with horrible traction. Is this severe lack of weight transfer?
This is a launch pic.....

If you are running street tires...don't bother trying to hook no matter what suspension you are running. Street tires don't hook and unless you are racing at a track with incredible prep, don't expect to cut crap for 60ft. times. The more power you make, the worse they get.

To answer your question, the Eibach ProKit Springs will affect your weight transfer, but I belive its such a negligible amount, its not worth worrying about.

I have the ProKit on my car and have cut a 1.86 60' on 17" Nitto DR's. If you're having problems cutting good times...get some tires!!! Track prep can make a HUGE difference as well. Be sure to try to make it to the track when there are guys with slicks running and they are applying VHT...and hopefully avoid too many street car tires (especially teh front wheel ricerish type).

obviously they are hurting to a certain extent, but you have other problems for sure, b/c those times aren't that good. Is this on street tires.

Yes, you are right. I am getting a high rpm miss that I can't seem to shake and I'm sure it's hurting my mph but don't think it is affecting 60ft times. I am hoping a custom dyno tune will take care of it. I was using new Nitto drag radials btw and granny shifting. I had them everywhere from 18 psi to 13 psi my last time at the track.

Maybe I'll try removing the front sway bar Friday night.
