I recently removed my bassani o/r xpipe because when combined with my flowmaster deltaflow 40 mufflers, it sounded like ass. it rattled a lot and shook the car, didnt sound very healthy at all for an exhaust system. i will be swapping those out for some spintechs possibly here in the near future and putting my xpipe back on. i was just curious if id run into the same problem with spintech. would it be a cleaner, healthier loud or just as bad? anyone have any input?

spintechs are LOUD........theyre not chambered per say....but they have rounded baffles (thus SPINtech) that are welded in a spining pattern to supposedly spin the air, i like em tho, they get my recomendation

I had the Spintech prostreet series with the Dr. Gas X-pipe. They are technically a chambered muffler. Like stated earlier they use a circular baffling design, not an absorbing design i.e. Dynomax, Borla, Magnaflow. They don't sound bad with a true X-pipe but with a chambered X-pipe like Bassani and BBK it will still make that rattling sound. The best muffler for the Bassani X-pipe is to use either Magnaflow, Bassani, or Dynomax. I had the Bassani X-pipe in the past and got rid of it for a h-pipe. So all in all I would get the Spintech, but change to a different midpipe. I have gone through all types of exhaust systems in the past such as h-pipe, Bassani X-pipe, Dr. gas X-pipe, Prochamber. I am now back to a H-pipe with a chambered muffler. In my opinion I think an H with the Spintech will sound nice and mean compared to the Bassani X-pipe. Everybody has their own opinion though. I am just speaking through experience. Hope this helps and good luck with you decision.

yeah. thanks for the input. i was gonna upgrade to a dr. gas o/r xpipe and sell my bassani o/r xpipe on ebay. i only used the bassani for 1k miles so its still it excellent shape, and it was only clamped, not welded together. so my future exhaust setup consists of bbk lt headers, dr gas o/r xpipe, spintech side exhaust. hopefully it all comes together quite nicely.
