Are there different types of Bilstein strut/shocks for Mustang GT's?

I went to Chicane Sport Tuning today to have them order me some H&R Super Sport springs and caster/camber plates. I told Joe there that I ordered the Bilstein shocks/struts from ebay but he asked me like how many valve thingies does it have. I don't know what he's talking about, as I only saw 1 part number on Bilstein's website in regards to a 2001 Mustang GT and the shocks/struts I ordered were for 94-04 Mustang GT's. Could I have possibly getting the wrong strut/shocks? Joe said I could sacrifice my ride quality to be like a truck if I didn't get the proper Bilstein struts/shocks but the ones I'm getting are for Mustang GT's 94-04. Aren't Bilstein shocks/struts supposed to be the best out there anyways?

Valve thingies? I'm guessing hes talking about the shim stack on top of the piston, it has to do with the valving of the shock and how much oil is let through. If I recall right there is two different types HD/Sport and the cobra r valving.

What could be the worst possible scenario if i didn't get the proper Bilstein shocks/struts? Or are all Belstein's well equipped for suspension needs knowing the reputation behind their product?

I bought mine off of ebay too. I asked the guy what the part numbers were before I bought them and they matched up to what MM sold.

FRONT V36-4138-H1
REAR BE5-6418-H0

Those are the only part numbers I found off Bilstein's official website as well. I only saw 2 variations of shocks/struts, and it's either for GT's or Cobra R's. I hope I do get the right ones though.
