These cobra r wheels were on my foxbody when I got it. Can anyone tell me if they’re real or not? They say made in Japan on the back it’s a little hard to see in the pic. If they’re real what are they worth?
Real Cobra R wheels actually were made in Japan. They don't say Ford anywhere
On the backside of the spokes will be markings. They will say "MADE IN JAPAN" which i see, and another spoke should say either NIPPON or HIDONEX
Real ones DO have JIL VIA 620KG stamped around the valvestem
You should also see 17x9JJ and a random number on the backside of the spoke as well.
I can't see any of the other markings, so still inconclusive. But I think these are in fact real based on what I see so far. Value all depends on if they are the R58 wheels or the M179 wheels. If you have 4 it might be $800+ for those, possibly more.
