Are These Heads Any Good?

[85 Coupe 5.0]

I recently picked up a set of heads off of an early 70's pickup with a 302. The casting number on the heads seems to be C8TE. they have a studded rocker arm and no smog/air injection ports on the back of the head.

Does anyone know where i can find some info on these heads, like chamber cc's and flow ratings?

Ok, so far i have found this.

C=1960 Decade
8=8th year of 1960
T=Truck
E=Engineering Dept.

But still no flow ratings or anything. anyone else have some ideas?

I don't think they would be better than the E7 heads. Believe it or not, other than the GT-40 the E7 (same as E5 but with smaller CC) is one of the better stock 302 heads

i was kinda thinking the same. The motor i'm currently building has E6SE's on it. It's out of a town car, late 80's or so, and i know the E6SE's have terrible flow compared to the E7's. It has the dished pistons and smaller camshaft. I'm planning on putting in a more decent cam, and changing the heads. I have the C8TE's laying around and was just curious as to which head would be better.
