The holes in the flexplate dont matter. some manufactures put them there for balance while others is just there design. check the bolt pattern, tooth count and center hole diameter and of course application.
If you are buying a new flexplate go with a name brand or you will be sorry. I have found some that had the center hole smaller and the mounting holes off about 1/8 inch. When I called there so called teck line they told me to file the holes oblong to fit, I laughed at him and returned it and bought a TCI.
