I know that Troy. Willies car makes 600rwhp at 13psi, which is what he was boosting when he ran the 10.9. 300 less than 600 is 300rwhp.

I don't know very much about turbos and such, but i do know that Dwaye Gutridge from Outragaous in jersey uses Kooks to make all his kits for his race cars, aslo Gary Gardella used them in his honda civic and that was the fastest civic in the world at one point(he drives a cobalt SS now). I have only heard good things about them. they are in Staten Island New York. I say give them a call. what can that hurt. I am not sure if they make kits or they just bend up the exhuast to your specs, but either way it can't hurt to call.

I dunno, im impreesed but a little disappointed. thats an incredible 1000 hp, even the 700+ is amazing. but all he could do is crack 10s, barely? was he running lower boost at the track? or can he not get the car to launch. im confused, b/c thats low 10s power.

Brian at BG makes twin kits for 94-95's....351w based and 302 based engines.

BUT what i would do is contact Mike(oink on here) and talk with him. He knows his stuff and his work is just as good, if not better, than any other company out there. I definately think he is your best option...then just buy whatever turbo(s) you want, and go from there.

read the entire thread and watch the entire video

runs were made at 13 psi (600 whp) and that was his first time racing the car. I think I have even managed better 60fts

As far as i know, that car has a dart based 428 and like stated, is a streetcar so he will not go auto whiuch is pure awesomeness

lol, you guys... everyone coming out with a different story. Willies car has a 347 dart based stroker setup, He runs the GT42R turbo, and the car is just insane!

Willies car still has a VERY basic stock style suspension setup, that he has not, and probably won't change. Give the guy some credit.. how many of us here could pull off a 9 second, or better right off the bat, on a 1k horse Mustang? Yea...

BTW, Give us an idea of what you want out of your car, and I or someone else can give you a better idea of what to do with your turbo situation.. I'll try to give some help.

I'm sorry bud, but you've got a lot to learn. I'm hoping you've already joined over at Turbomustangs.com and started reading. You car with 300 less hp will not eat his car alive. You are more than mistaken on that. That video was made at 13psi and his first time out on the track with that combo and first attempt at slicks. 13psi that car made 600rwhp and ran a 10.9 with some of the ****iest launching ever seen. So you're telling me at with 300rwhp you are gonna beat his 10.9. Thats comedy. You should also know that nothing changed in his combo between the video and him running his 9.87 at 152. He just got used to driving the car and upped the boost a bit. Still not going past 20psi. The car topped at 1013 in the vid at 30psi. He doesn't daily drive it at 30psi. I suggest you do lots of reading over at TM.com and see what other guys with you size cubes are running. If you want to run twins. Why don't you have someone build you a kit like Mike or Brian at B&G. I think you'd be better of with twins running a 427 mostly because it will take a large frame single set up to make power and still have street manors.

Don't tell me i have a lot to learn, that may be true but i don't need you telling me that. First thing, i made the same mistake as some of the other peope in missing that he was only running 13lbs. Sencond I have been to the track a total of 4 times in the last year and half... And only once with my last setup and a decent set of tires. I ran a 10.96 @ 128 before i was asked to either calm down or put a cage in... Thats a car that dynoed 489 rwhp and about the same torque. No extended rpms just 12lbs of boost. So when i see somebody that has over a hundred plus more horse and a lot more torque I think its kinda sad and discipointing when they beat me by less then a tenth and the mph seemed a little low... If i had a good auto tranny like im planning on getting i could have done faster with less ... maybe not 300rwhp less but at least 150rwhp.. Dont' get me wrong i think the car is bad ass but im just kinda discipointed. And my last point... I have seen people run in the 9's with more then 400 rwhp less then him at 13 lbs of boost... They were also on Hayabusa though.

Anyway im setting the car up for True Street Competition. Besides that its going to sit and look pretty at local car shows And be driven around.
So im looking for a setup i can turn down like willies for more street manor and then when im competing i can up the power to an appropriate level to be competitive.

LOL you guys are funny.. I looked at the video and once he gets those launches down he would have run better time. He killed damn near a second off his time everytime he bogged down.. In that last run the damn Honda beat him, don't get me wrong.. love his car and wish I had that much to put into mine. His car is still insane.. But next time kill that damn Honda MAN!!!!

I'm going with twins because of spool time and it seems easier to fab.. Look at it like this instead of 1 turbo pushing 10-PSI, i can have 2 pushing 5-PSI each =10-PSI. Each of my turbos are rated to support 350hp each and 700Hp is plenty for me..

turbos dont "push psi"
boost pressure is the side effect of forcing air into a chamber (intake) of an engine that only can process so much. ie smaller head ports, less cfm the engine can process, more boost. everyone thinks psi is a good thing, cfms are what you want. you cant add boosts from two turbos and make a fnal boost number. i declare shenanigans

from personal expereince with superchargers, the negatives... BELT SLIPAGE. I would get 8-12psi depending on the day. Its harder on your crank. Superchargers are usually less efficient then turbos. They don't sound as cool... lol You can control boost from in your car if you want with a turbo. Have to change pulleys if you want with most superchargers.

Positives... Much easier to plumb a supercharger. Take up less space. No special exhaust parts needed. Cheaper usually. Cleaner looking (usually).Im sure there are more possitives but i can't think of them right now.

For all the people complaining about willies bad E.T.s, Ill mention again that Willie went 9.8 at 152 WITH a 6 SPEED!!! Heres the vid of him racing Jesus and below are somemore pics of mine.

http://chronictel.net/videos/cobra/WolverineVSJesus.avi

Now, back on topic. I vote you go with a big single, the motor your building is gonna spool it PLENTY quick and isnt your car kind of a show car? Peak numbers with the single are gonna impress EVERYONE, plus itll look cleaner, youll only need one wastegate/BOV/down pipe/ all that nonsense. I would look into a custom kit or B&G(what I eventually am gonna go with) or maybe even call the guys at CFT that built Willies car.

if you knew you were gonna get killed for it, you obviously knew that you were saying something stupid
why would you even say such a thing.
i give up on trying to enlighten people on how much better turbos are. id rather be able to beat on them with my turbo stang and them be like "WTF!" when they hear the sound as i fly by. id rather turbo mustangs were less popular.
in fact...
turbos suck on mustangs, dont even think about them
they cost to much and..
TURBOMUSTANGS NEVER RUN
