ARGGGH! GT Billet Grille

new to the forum, long time stang lover - thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

i have a 08 GT and I want to remove the fog lights in the center and replace with an ALL black billet grille. For now, V6ers have a plethora of billet grilles to choose from under $70 but from what I have read - the v6 black billet grille does not work on GTs'; so I have only seen GT Billet Grilles for around $300 or more. Wondering if this is the norm? or am I having trouble finding my grille of choice?

gonna take a guess and assume the saleen grille only works with the saleen front end huh?

My wife bought an '05 V6 when they first came out, and had me install a GT grille with fog lights. From firsthand experience, the grilles are not (easily) interchangeable. The opening in the V6 bumper cover is a little more narrow than the GT, and the center-front peaks are slightly different angles, too. If I have the option of getting a grille specifically for a GT vs. a less-expensive V6 grille, I'd spend the extra $$$ for the GT version. If you try to save a few $$$, then only you know if that risk is worth the potential disappoiontment.
