Arizona Emissions Help!!!

Just moved to phoenix a.z. and nothing like new york cant just throw the guy an extra 20 to pass ur vehicle emissions test...which cities surrounding phoenix dont require emissions test, and if they dont what do they check??? i have an 89 and a 347 stroker with a non emissions friendly cam almost complete no cats and long tube headers sooooo i need some help here

maricopa city yes there is a city,queen creek, florence, anywhere in the Rez i think no emissions. chandler heights maybe?

Find another emissions tester. I guarantee.. GUARANTEE you there is at least one in Phoenix that can be paid off.

Several places in that area will tell you "give me the car for an hour and I'll make it pass."

As I recall, one has to go to the actual emissions testing center - it is not like other locales where one can take the car to a shop and the shop is who passes the car.

I have firends with 347's that are not emission friendly so they toss a set of cats in and make sure all your other emission stuff is insalled, even though it's not doing anything....
and create a vacum leak...
the vacum leak will take care of everything for you. you just can't make it obvious.
if you want to go with an extra little bit run your tank down to less than a 1/4 tank and dump a bottle of rubbing alcohol into the gas tank before you get to the emissions station.
Now here is one key to passing... do NOT shut your motor off.. it's always better to let the motor run before testing.. so they'll have you shut it down when you first pull in for a few seconds but that's ok.. just don't shut it down while you are wating in line.

def leave the car running, make sure the cats are njice and warm. If anything i would even bump the idle up a little just to make sure. If its getting a I/M 240 test it they wont even check how high the idle is. I worked for an emissions testing place here in colorado, not sure how it is out there in arizona. I hear its run by the same companies so maybe simalar? Any questions pm me if you need to.
