They fit just fine. I had one on my old coupe. The color is supposed to be painted on to match but I already had grey interior and the grey one matched pretty close.

With regards to the armrest you have in the car currently, you'll have to pry off the access plugs on the side of the console to get access to the 4 nuts that hold the armrest down. Then you just gently pry up the armrest.

The armrest delete has 4 hold-down clips on the underside of it. Simply paint the delete, install the ashtray from your armrest into the delete, and then pop the delete in place.

The stockers fit fine, although by no means is mine firmly fit. It actual slides a few millimetres front to back in it's seated position and removing it is quite easy.

But it is lighter (10 lbs?) and does make the car looks cleaner.

I got mine off ebay a few years back. My interior is titanium and I was lucky. Guy had a mint titanium delete with clean ashtray. I did spend $40 for it though! That was 2 years ago before 50resto or any of the other foxbody parts suppliers purchased the mold and started making their own in neutral colours for $25.

90's came without the armrest, having had 3 90's in the family without them, i can without a doubt say DON'T DO IT.
Especially if you have a 5 speed, your arm is going to get tired as hell, holding it in the air.

I love my armrest delete, makes the interior really clean, plus that armrest thing weighs a ton.
