I'm pretty sure I texted them to him. I don't recall emailing any to anyone. He dropped em on a thumb drive for me and I downloaded them to my desktop.

That was a good stroke of luck. hehe It will hopefully stay with you as you go.

How old is your kid? High School? Should be pretty sweet going back and forth in a Fox.

Yeesh! No I'll have to check that out.

..and yes. He turns 16 in June. He's stoked about driving a fox thru a sea of camrys and dodge diesels.

My son earlier today: "Dad, Tray next door gave me this old go cart his brother ran over with a pick up. The steering column is broken, can we take a break from the Mustang and weld up the go cart?"

Me: " You can weld it up.. I'll show you what to do.."

*Snicker*

Aaawwww yeeeaahhh, that'll work. Beat it up, kiddo..

Back to the Mustang tomorrow, I suppose. It was a fun day.

Very cool. I wish my Dad and I had fixed an old four eye we came across when I was 16, but it never happened.

Nothing really new.. mounted a fender spat and been sanding. And sanding. And sanding. Hoping maybe get it in primer this weekend or the next but there is a lot of dead loose paint and rust that needs to come off first.

i hammer and dollied most of the crease from the hood out of the roof, but it still needs some love. Use a torch a little and got some more out, but have some severely stretched metal that i may just give up on and fill. I'm an ok body guy... not a great one. Looking into a shrinking hammer... but the more i read the more i think they are a novelty.. I mentioned cutting a patch out and welding in good metal and my son had a cow... haha. We'll see...

If I were your kid, I'd have gotten a Mustang too.

That there tells the whole story. Kid knows he has you by the nads for a good outcome. lol Soon you'll need to upgrade that turbo. No worries. He'll take your old one off your hands.
