I already have a ASP OD alt pulley on the stock 75amp 2g alternator thats still in the car.I won`t be doing the swap till spring due to it being winter time here.
The 96` and up 3g`s are a little different than the 94-95 pulley wise.(something to do with a revised case).
My stock pulley from the 75amp 2g interferes with the housing on the 96` 3g,and the ASP OD pulley apparently uses the same offset size for up to 1995,so it`s probably going to interfere with the housing as well.
If I use a 5/8" washer behind the ASP OD pulley on the 96 3g,which will solve the interference issue,will the pulley line up correctly with the belt?
Anyone run into this before.
ASP seems to think the pulley would not line up correctly with the belt,making it walk off,but they`re not 100% sure.
