I currently have te stock shift knob on my 96 Cobra with the leather all ripped off lol. I feel like repalcing it with either a leather wrapped 99-04 GT knob or a Bullitt aluminum one. Never was a fan of the T handle in our cars lol.

Yea, Im leaning against the t-handle now for sure. Just doesnt mesh well with our interior's design. Still have yet to see anything that really stands out to me. That GT gripper knob is my favorite so far.

but during the warm months (March through October) I use a classic white ball, the T-handle gets too hot

MGW gripper shifter ball with Mach 1 logo on it. I've got a dark blue Mach 1 UPR shifter ball on it right now (no longer made thanks to sue happy Ford).

The leather on my stock shift knob also wore out, so I replaced it with this:

03-04 cobra knob or the mach 1 knobs are my personal favorites.

Stock shift knob here. I tried the MGW T handle and hated it. I also had a brushed aluminum ball on my 97 and that wasn't very good either, especially in the summer.

Yea, thats the main issue I'm having with my current one, it's scalding hot in the summer and stupid cold in the winter.

I think ultimately im going to go with the 05+ knob, or maybe try and find something off the beaten path as long as it's not tacky.
