Bumping this thread with updates: I received the FRPP leather shifter for Christmas and I love it! I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal but it is a huge improvement over the stock molded plastic knob.
It's surprisingly bigger than stock ( see pics below) but it fits my hand much better and is more comfy to grab and shift and, of course, the leather is a big step up in feel from plastic.
Two drawbacks which may or not matter to you... the color doesn't match the black shift boot at all and the base of the knob is bigger in diameter so the top of the boot doesn't meet up seamlessly with it (again, see pics below). The color doesn't bother me and I'll be getting a new shifter boot, parking brake handle boot and steering wheel cover soon and they should be closer in color to the shift knob. I think I can stuff a spacer in the top of the boot to get it to line up better - we'll see.
Please disregard the temporary Autozone steering wheel wrap - the factory wrap had disintegrated to the point where my hands were sticking to the wheel and I had to do something
