If i were you i'd get a Capri upper like posted in that link, and mate it to an aftermarket lower. Someone makes one that looks just like the real one but it's one piece (instead of 3). PM 795.0pacecar and ask where he got his (same thing as the Pacecars and '82 GT use).

I'm really tempted to get a '79 nose like mine and mate it to that valance and put my original one in storage. I'm terrified of hitting something with it, but i guess that's the price you pay for having something rare.

That is actually what I want to do. Capri upper with '82 GT lower. I LOVE '82 GT's. Gonna leave the LX tail lights. I have an extra Saleen wing but I think I want to go with something else. I'm kinda Saleen winged out. LOL Wanna paint it Sonic blue or Twilight blue. Or black. Probably black. LOL

The Capri lower is pretty much the exact same thing as the GT lower.
