ATTN:Svttech and Coramprat(May have found my drivetrain noise)

I just wanted to give you guys a update about the drive train "whinning" noise. We checked everything out: ujoints,rearend, driveshaft and tranny. We beleive the noise is comming from "cupped" tires. I have several tires that are "cupped". I took the car over to a tranny shop and the tech pointed this out to me. I never thought about the tires because they have about 11000 miles on them. Ford did some front end work on the car last year. The alignment was off previous to this work and Ford did a alignmnet on the car. This is where we are at now. Thanks to all who responded. At least you narrowed down the problem. I seem to always have issues with tires. I drive 30K a years so a alighnment or out-of-balance problem gets mine pretty quickly.
