hey whats up guys,i installed the pipe this morning to compliment my loudmouth and all i can say is wow..i guess im gonna have to get used to it because its LOUD AS HELL..anything over 3k is obnoxious..it does sound badass when im going full throttle..you can hear me a mile away....2 questions though, with a x-pipe when i get on the throttle it sounds like a i turned on a blender ontop..its like a wierd obnoxious tone, i cant describe it but its loud....also I went to upr to ask them about the sound and he says theirs a leak in my driver side manifold...first off, are their any gaskets on the driver or passenger side manifold? the upr manager gave me a cylider gasket to install on the driver side, also are their any flat gaskets on the passenger side? he thinks they could of gave me a x-pipe for a 96-98 GT..if so, wold that hurt my performance in any way?..one last question, For the rear Oxygen Sensors..did you guys have to remove one of them from the little white-colored plastic tabs connected to the car to actually get them to reach the x-pipe or no? this is how i can tell if i get a 96-98 pipe, thanks in advance.!

There is a metal gasket for the passenger's side. I bought one from Ford when I got my upr x and went ahead and replaced it on install. UPR did not snd a gasket, but everyone recommends replacing it while you're under the car. The driver's side uses the metal tube thing that came with the X.

Once I installed my mil eliminators, I don't recall any trouble reinstalling the 02 sensors except I taped one of them up too much which made it short (easy fix).

I think i got a 96-98 GT Xpipe for my 02 gt..but upr says it doesnt matter because its all the same pipe...did you guys get the little metal cylider gasket with your xpipe that goes on the driver side??let me know thanks.

If you dont put back or reuse your factory passenger side gasket between mainfold/xpipe it will alwasys leak. Buy a new one from Ford, hell to be safe put two together. I have also heard to replace the studs from the manifold as they tend to stretch with the initial installation on the assembly line.

Yes, mine came with that piece. The gasket for the passenger side I had to buy from Ford..cost around $7 I think.
