Auburn Pro vs. Trac lock rear

other than $200, whats the big difference between the rears? Can the trac lock handle 1.30 60ft? 550 lbs. of torque? If so, I am getting that... If the Auburn is THAT much better, convince me...

I have the auburn pro with 33spl mosers..don't have the tq to test them to the limit. Also you should look at the detroit locker diffs

I looked at that one too until I saw the price!! That's ridiculous!! It can't be THAT much better...

i dont see a 31spline tloc holding up. a locker would be good, its about the only thing close to a spool compared to the rest of the diffs

what are your plans to cut a 1.3 60'?

i see it like this, new one OEM cost $20 less at a dealership. might as well have electronic capabilities

My 31 spline Eaton has held up well.

I do have FRPP 3:73 gears with my stock axles and center piece... How much do you think that can hold? I would spend about $250 on 31 spline axles and another $250 to $450 on rear assembly (depending on which I choose)... So, between $500 and $750 worth of parts... Worth it???? Or wait til I break mine????

im going with 31 spline axles and can't figure out what diff to get im leaning more towards the detroit truetrack diff or eaton posi but can't make up my mind

ok, stupid question, thats sorta related. what axle does an 02 gt come stock with, the 7.5 or 8.8?

1.3s will be pretty tough in a full weight centri car. spool it

it has an 8.8 rear end

I would put a spool in it if I didn't want to drive it on the street. That's my problem..

thats why you need to spring for the ECTED so you can spool at the track and unlock for normal driving off.
