Due to the limited trunk space in my stang im thinking about getting a 10' bazooka tube to add a little bass, i was looking for some feedback about the whole tube over sub box idea.

Depends on how much bass you want..if you just want enough to hear the music, but not rattle the car then a bazooka is fine, you may want to look into rockford fosgates version of the tube woofer, or audiobahn because I am sure they are nicer units. I put my sub in the spare tire well, like this...

I dont know if you are in a vert or not, but mine is a vert and the trunk is even smaller than the trunk in the coupe. Ask me any quesitons if you need help. Good luck.

Go with the Infinity BassLink for the best pre-made solution. They actually sound good, are smaller than the Bazooka, and will get louder. Or, build it custom like MyEarsHurt did.
In my car, a single 10 would be like farting during a tornado- useless. Think about the noise floor in a Mustang, add in the ubiquitous loud exhaust, and possibly factor in the extra noise if it's a Vert, and then try to decide what the Bazooka can do. Not much.

Infinity02Zinc would you recommend a lot of sound deadening material, like MyEarsHurt?

YEP! I like the newer liquid products for weight-savings, but definitely deaden the hell out of everything.

diddo- for that price you can find a awesome 10 or 12 that will fit in a small sealed enclosure that will make you feel like you have multiple tubes, not to mention alot better on the SQ side of things. ill try and do the math and show you something comparable!

got MDF, glue, screws, screw gun, & a jig-saw?

Image Dynamics IDQ10" - $119.99
suggested box vol. is .25 -.50 thats smaller then a tube & with a
JBL BP300.1 - $182.95
you can go wrong, an awesome amp / sub combo that will smoke that bazooka tube for just about the same money!

Better yet, get an Elemental Kx and make a .75 cube box port-tunned to 32hz. Use that same amp and have near-audiophile sound with pretty good output (mid 130's on old-style mic would be my guess).
