hey guys, did any of you ever run your car in the 1/4 and get a baseline?

i'm curious as to see what everyone else ran. i really don't have any traction problems at the track just point and go

3:31 gear, premium GT

2.016 60'
13.38@101.80

only mod was a axleback, which i didn't feel any difference whatsoever!

Never had the opportunity to run my '07 GT Premium Coupe stock. Most car mags reported the automatics as running 13.60's to 14.00's at 99 or 100 mph.

I ran my GT last week for the first time. Traction was great, ran a best 60' time of 2.001 and typically ran 2.0's and 2.1's. Car needs a higher stall converter for more aggressive launch!

Ran 13.40's all day: 13.40, 13.46, 13.47, 13.49. Ran a 13.64 when I bogged bad off the line (tried to launch at idle instead of brake-torqueing for rpm's). Trap speed was 102.5 to 102.9 every run.

Only mods are 4.10 gears and a DiabloSport Predator tune (the firm-shifting tune - nothing custom). That's it. No CAI, no exhaust changes, nothing. I even ran the heavy 18" factory wheels and tires.

There was a 2006 GT Coupe Automatic there at the same time. CAI, Predator Tune, Corsa Axle-Backs, 17" factory wheels and tires, and factory 3.31 gears. Best he ran was 13.66 @ 101+. We compared notes a lot. He's now seriously considering the 4.10 gears (best bang-for-the-buck, IMHO). Big stall converter (and sticky tires) would also be a lot of bang-for-the-buck and is my next mod.

With just axlebacks that 13.31 @ 101 is pretty damn good, you should be pleased with those numbers. I don't have exact numbers as our density altitude is rather wacked out here but I think I was about 1.5MPH slower than your time (approx.) corrected.
