It won't cause the computer to blow up. The computer won't know when the clutch is pressed in. In some cars the clutch has to be released and vehicle in neutral to run a key on, engine running self diagnostic....like a cylinder balance test.
Been running mine that way for years, Won't affect a thing. It will however allow the car to start Without the clutch. So use caution if someone else drives it.
