Hey guys, I just got done installing my performer intake. After checking things out, I puched it from a dead stop with the tranny in D, and the engine revved, but the car didn't go anywhere. once the rpms dropped down then the tranny grabbed. I was able to get it to happen again. If I don't hammer it right away, it doesn't seem to happen. When I got back home, I checked the fluid level, and the color of it, and they both seem good. I did have a Transgo shift kit put in it a month and a half ago. But this is the first time this has happened. Any ideals on what the problem could be?
As far as mods it is pretty mild. SO far:
3.55 gears
transgo shift kit
BBK CAI
Edelbrock preformer
70MM TB
Bassani off road X pipe
Flowmaster catback

It sounds like old age. The seals after time will start to wear out and say if you install a shift kit it increases the valve body pressure the seals will start to leak so it will some times nutreal out or slup in gear. you can go to www.tccoa.com and under tech look up tranny and there are some trouble shooting artcles in there for an aode/4r70w.
