Hey folks,

this is a wierd question....
as I prepare to swap in a nicely built 306 into my 87 vert, the nice forged slug engine from the 87 is looking like a perfect candidate for my 74 Bronco.

I really like motorcraft/autolite 2100 2 barrel carbs for their simplicity and rock solid dependability. Does anyone have any idea how the 87 HO engine would run, with stock cam and all, with an autolite 2100?

biggest 2100 I can find is 424 cfm

and from what I understand is for FE motors. I understand it is a 1.33 size. Is this the one I want?

How do I hook up the mechanical fuel pump to the stock 5.0 cam, or am I sol?

ya'know what, I was thinking the 2300 for the 500cfm, the 2100 is actually 425cfm. Well, my 289 is stock with 11:1 compression and a full exhaust and I keep from buying an intake for it cause the 2100 has just been awesome for me. I have a 300 straight 6 in my f-150 with a custom 3 piece header, offy intake and 390 cfm holley 4 barrel. Just buy a low pressure electric fuel pump from your local autoparts store, you don't need the block mounted pump.
