yes it is going to look just like our deluxe grippers but for the auto guys.

here are some pics of one on a bench mounted shifter assembly. the black thing below it is for the overdrive button which is not in there right now. i am thinking ALOT of guys are go8ing to relocate the overdrive button to the dash somewhere and then use a boot with this knob.

regards
george

I am not sure that this is quite "Rejoice" material, but it definitely scores a "Hmmmmmm"....

I just installed leather covers for my e-brake and auto shifter. It went pretty well, and looks worlds better than stock. I just took pics and will be downloading them to my computer this weekend. Look for my related thread on this to get updated with those pics.

I've got one of these with the PA manual valve body. By the way, it looks much better than this picture because it mounts flush under the stock shifter housing so you don't have that raised plastic piece.

Here is a pic of mine. It is the original style MGW auto handle! I have so many people ask about it. When I tell them it is an auto they are shocked!

You just know by feel after a while.

One notch back is R, two is N, three is D, four is 2, and all the way is 1.

I called and asked them last year if the Hammer would fit an '01 and the very quick reply was "no", nothing more to offer either. Asked if they would make a Hammer for the '01 in the foreseeable future and got a 'I don't know". From the short conversation I felt as though I might have hit a 'sore spot' or something.

The conversation was with B&M, not Ford.

haven't tried it yet,
but I am going to try it... the dude with the V6 has it apparently and it looks sick... except I won't have it there, but I'll put it somewhere else

stay tuned

PS. anyone have their automatic shifter out of the housing? I need to see what moves when you shift so I can get the overall idea of how it would work... then I can post pics and stuff of the install
