But didnt you know? Everything you do to your car now is Rice. Change the bumpers, thats rice. Change wheels, thats rice, Add some stereo equipment, thats rice. i guess you could go rice because its kinda is posing for something you dont have--if you add the boot. but only too an extent because i mean our stock shifter is one of the ugliest things ever... so it may be more of "cleaning up the inside" as stated before--- either way ill be a RICER 
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I think it looks stupid .... plus a waste of $$ too (JMHO). If you really wanted your car to look like a manual, why didn't you buy one in the first place??
The stock shifter looks and works just fine for me.
Why don't you spend some cash on something that will actually make your transmission shift better and last longer (like a shift kit etc.) instead of a shifter that is nothing more than cosmetic?

its not like i want mine to look like a manual i just wnat adiffernt shifter--i doubt id get the boot.
