... last one ...

The grippy part is black, the pony is chrome, the background under the pony is silver/grey. Sorry that the colors do not look great in these pics.

I agree.

I know this is not the automatic, but I had to show off my Deluxe gripper for the 5spd. MGW makes some great stuff!

Ameration, i had never paid any attention to the fact that you have a boot over yours. Very nice.

Having it half a hand length away is still within a quick reach. It will look so much cleaner with the O/D button near the lighter rather than that large add-on button that they sell for an extra $30 or so.

There are a few pics of my set-up and a few other good ones in this thread.

thanks for the info, I guess I'll do it that way. what kinda button did you buy, and did you have to extend the wires at all?

And no, its not 5speed envy had I wanted a 5spd, I would have gotten one. Its called sprucing up the interior. On my old truck I moved the shifter from the column to the floor (automatic S10) with a factory Bravada console because I liked the look of it.

I like my UPR shifter knob setup better. But, the MGW knob is pretty nice.

ok, I ordered the MGW Knob (red) and a cobra leather boot. Hopefully I can do this next week while I'm on spring break.

My question: what type of button should i be using for the overdrive? and what gauge wire am I gonna need to wire it up? I'd appreciate the advice of anyone who's done it.

Thanks!

00VERT GT:

Sorry for the tardy reply but I didn't see this thread pop up until now. I called MGW and asked for the colors and they said grey/silver was available. I think they can make almost any color if you want to wait (and/or pay a little extra).

Islander03GT:
You need a momentary contact switch. Radio Shack or you could get an older style Mustang OD switch (they had the button mounted on the console).

Hope this helps.

Chris
