Automatic trans fluid okay in manual?

we just put a new clutch in and throwout bearing and had flywheel resurfaced, we just repacked the pilot bearing though, didnt replace it. . . my buddy told me put Auto matic trans fluid in, is that right? i did now and my trans makes noises. . . . i dont know what swrong with it, when ur foots off the clutch it knocks

i used mobil 1 synthetic gear oil.

ATF works for me.

ATF is what the manual recomends. The noise might be clutch chatter. My new clutch had it for a while. It went away after the first 500 miles.
