Automatic Tunes

I have heard that Lido at Alternative auto does not do email tunes any more,and that Fred at Evolution charges $150 for one email tune.I have called these guys and got no response.I am trying to do a auto tune comparison and have heard alot about these two guys.

Brenspeed and Bamachips is all you will hear about around here. For mail order tunes, they are the way to go. And a lot less than $150 a tune. Both of them can work magic on autos, so check them out.

I have had Both Evolutions and BamaChips tunes for my Auto and here is my opinion on them.
Evo's Tunes are ok, some what conservative in the shift schedule and are great for Daily Driving. Bamachips Race Tune has a bit more Aggressive shift schedule and can Chirp the Tires through 3rd gear. Now I have had my issues with each of these tuners, Once you Give Evo your Cash, it's hard to get him to respond to you for changes, this is the same with Bamachips, they got rid of there support phone number so email only and good luck. Bamachips chargers 75.00 per tune and Evo is 150 for three.

Now after several weeks of trying to explain my issues with each of these guy I never got my issue resolved. then somone hooked me up with Justin at VMP Tunning. 50.00 per tune and he will datalog your tunes if you have issues.
I would try him first.

Just an FYI, Brenspeed does 3 tunes for $125, and Bama does 3 tunes for $185. Doug seems to be getting back on track, too. The last few emails I sent took 1-2 days for a response.
