Autometer A/F Gauge?

Does anyone recommend using these? I've got one laying around from an old turbo honda project that I built awhile back. They seem to be just a light show. Do they actually serve the purpose? Or do you guys recommend getting an EGT gauge instead?

Just want to know if I would be wasting my time wiring this thing up. Thanks!

It is pretty but really isn't anything to judge how well your A/F is doing. I have one but they are about as usefull as christmas lights in June. A wideband is really the only way to go if you want a real reading.

wideband all the way... with the Air/Fuel gauge... might give a small idea @ wideopen throttle.. other than that just a light dance
