Autometer air/fuel ratio monitor gauge,working?

Is this gauge really help you setting your fuel pression?

Is it really working? Or it more a nice thing?

they're aren't very accurate at all. Only kind of work well at WOT.

As 50mustang said, they are not very accurate, they give you a broad determination whether your leaning out or running rich.

I know they jump around a lot when you are just cruising, but when you are wide open throttle, does the light stay in one place? It seems like that might be good if that is accurate, considering if I am taking it above about 3k rpm, I usually have it WOT. Anyone know about it at WOT?

Mine never worked right as it was from the begining, its like faded you can see the lights only at night and just barely.. If you really want something to moniter your air/fuel get a wide band.. I gotta get one soon just gotta save money for it, there not cheap

Mine works great. When the engine is cold, it stays in the rich area. Once it goes into closed loop, it's fluxuating all over the place, representing the ecm's ever changing commands of fuel mixture needs. When I get on it it stays rich until the ecm leans it out when you get out of WOT.
