i got the gauge for free, but the fitings that come with the braided line doesnt fit the fitting in the back of the gauge.. Does anyone know what size adapter ill need to fit? Also where do i thread the other end of the line into? Someone said remove the shrader valve and thread it into its place.
thanks

I just put an Autometer Feul Pressure gauge and a reg. on my car and I can tell you that the fitting that goes into the back of the gauge is not one I could find at the local parts store. So what I did was find the nearest hydralic (sp?) place and went to the them with it and they got me what I needed and it was 1/8th the price that Autometer wanted. If I was you I would like I said try to find a shop that deals in hydralics and they will be able to help you out.
Good luck!

I got a new fuel pressure reg. and the gauge at the same time, so I re-placed the existing fuel pressure reg. with the new one and it has a port in it for the line to the gauge. There is a way to get a special fitting that replaces the threaded fitting that is on the fuel line up at the front of the car on the passenger side I think, but I am not sure how it works, so I just spent the money for an adjustable Feul pressure regulator and ran the line from it to the gauge, this way I am able to adjust the pressure to what I want.
I hope this helps you in some way.
Let me know if I can be of anymore help. :nice:
